Went back to my hometown as usual. As you can see, hundreds of ants crawling on the tiger’s mouth.
Spent the last moments of the niu year and the beginning of the Tiger year at the only temple in my hometown.
It is a routine my family does for the pass few years. Go to the temple, light up joss sticks, pray. My eyes were filled with tears due to the hundreds of burning joss sticks inside. But never mine, because sacrifice is needed for satisfaction.
Ola! Posing in front of the well known temple.
Totally full and packed. There was barely space to breathe inside.
This year’s new year was rather special because of two main reason:
1) My grandpa decided to have a lion dance this year.
Roar!
The part where everyone is forced to cover their ears.
The second thing that made this year’s CNY special is
2) I ate Yee Sang for the 2nd time. The first was when my grandma made 1 w/o peanut specially for me few years back.
This time, the restaurant I ate at served the YEE SANG with the effing peanut separately, therefore everyone agreed to leave the peanut aside. :D So good.
YEE SANG actually taste good, with the salmon especially, and of course, without the peanut.
Drank quite a few cups of Tiger beer this year as it is Tiger’s World Acclaimed year. LOL
Take 1.
Take 2.
It taste like water already.
Now that I’m back from my kampung, there are 2 things I miss very much:
1) My grandma’s cooking
I wonder why grandmums cooking always taste better than mums?
2)This picture can actually talk.
OMG! I'm addicted to gambling. T.T
Happy Lunar New Year Once Again!
